Ms. Sonial St. Mitchel and Ms. Dali Basu, accomplished Odissi dancers and recipients of the Shastri's India Studies Arts Fellowship, recently visited SICI office in Delhi. These talented artists serve as genuine ambassadors of Indian culture in Canada. Dr Prachi Kaul was delighted to meet them and hear about their inspiring journey and appreciated their hard work and dedication to promoting Indian culture in Canada.

    Dr. Prachi Kaul had a great evening with Prof. Rhonda Lenton, President of York University and her team of Deans. Engaging discussion over a delightful dinner hosted by the President provided an opportunity to discuss future collaborations with SICI and its Indian Members’ Council.

     

    Update on Short-Term Virtual Courses

    The short-term virtual course on " Investment Analysis and Portfolio Management: Role of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning " to be taught by a Professor of IIT Kanpur is currently open for registration. Come, learn and master the Investment and portfolio with help of AI and Machine Learning!

Formerly the Director of the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, Professor Karandikar's achievement is truly commendable. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to him for this well-deserved accomplishment and looking forward to continue our long time associated with him in this new role.

    Call for Application : Canadian Studies Postdoctoral Fellowships

     

    Applications are invited for Canadian Studies Postdoctoral Fellowships. Application files must be submitted to the ICCS with a recommendation from the national Canadian Studies association before November 24. A decision will be made mid-January of each year by the ICCS awards and grants committee. Research stays may commence by 1 April. For more information click here
